Option 1: VAN PHUC SILK VILLAGE

In recent years, the village has enjoyed the revival of its craft due to surging demand for silk in both the domestic and foreign markets A half=hour drive will take you to the
Van Phuc silk village, Right at the gate of the village, you will see a number of silk shops where you can choose any kind or color you want. Van Phuc silk products are devided to various grades and designs, but all are at reasonable price, further inside the village, you can enjoy an ancient view of a northern Vietnamese village, with communal house and well, lotus pond, ancient banian
Tree and a market…. All alongside modern houses.

Optional 2: BAT TRANG POTTERY VILLAGE
The village and exciting place to visit, full of lively artisans busy at their work, Tourist go to the village looking to buy plain or enameled pots decorated with Vietnamese landscapes. The decoration of pottery with delicate painted scenes, Started only a last few years, for the painted pottery, there is much work involved. The pottery has to be put into a mould, fired and enameled, all these stage require meticulousness, accuracy and an orderly mind.

Optional 3: DONG HO FOLK PAINTINGS VILLAGE & BUT THAP PAGODA
We leave Hanoi at 08:30 am and drive to Dong Ho village located just north in Hanoi, famous for wood-block-printing, The paper is made from the bark of the
do tree, then brushes it with a paste made from crushed mussel shells to giveit an iridescent shine and the paints themselves are also derived from natural ingredients: red from clay and rocks; orange from gardenia flowers; black from charred bamboo leaves; and the blue from indigo leaves,-- You Have about 30-45 minutes to visit this village with some families where they make these enchanting prints.
From Dong Ho, we drive to But Thap pagoda, one of the finest pagodas in Vietnam and know as vietnam’s first Buddhist center, The name But Thap means pen brush and was given to reflect the shape of the Bao Nghiem Tower, The principal attraction of the pagoda the statue to the Avalokitesvara or Goddess of Mercy, which has no fewer than 11 faces, 994 armsand 994 eyes-each eye resting on the palm of a hand.
